Sawyer Camp Trail Closed February 26-27

Sawyer Camp Trail will be closed from the main trailhead to mile marker 3 on Tuesday and Wednesday, February 26th and 27th for tree maintenance by San Mateo County Parks. The trail will reopen by sunrise on Thursday, February 28th.

San Andreas Trail remains open. No additional trail closures are planned at this time.

    Where is the "main trailhead"? Hillcrest or the other end?

    The north trailhead at Hillcrest was locked at 7am this morning. The San Andreas trailhead was locked off as well.

    Our sincerest apologies for the error; the trail is completely closed for all 6 miles.
