Stormy Weather Necessitates Swing Shift in Crystal Springs Reservoir Area

Night work will be ongoing adjacent to the Sawyer Camp Trail area -- from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., Monday through Saturday –- as the project team makes up time due to rain delays and the relocation of a sensitive species (an unexpected neighbor…bats!) As most construction area noise is below the decibel level of nearby Highway 280, recreational users of the area are unlikely to notice the change in work hours.

If you live in the gorgeous hills above the Lower Crystal Springs Dam, you may see additional night-time illumination below Highway 280. The work crew has taken extra care to ensure these lights point downward, rather than in your direction!

Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or comments at (866) 973-1476, 24 hours a day.
